With the departure of Drew Meyer, the Wisconsin Badgers looked to reload at the punter position and found the No. 4 punter in the country from the Peach State. Lotti brings to Wisconsin a huge leg (over 45 yards per punt in junior and senior years of high school) and an impressive resume from his time at West Hall high school in Oakwood, Ga. (back-to-back first-team all-state selection), which should allow him to compete with P.J. Rosowski next season for starting punter.

The presence of the strong-legged Georgian should help boost a Wisconsin punt unit ranked 12th in the Big Ten in average yards per punt (39.3), and near the bottom of the conference in net yards per punt (35.4 yards) last season.
