A.J. Taylor brings to Wisconsin a ton of potential and a unique skill set. Playing running back for Rockhurst, Taylor appears to be starting his Badgers career as a wide receiver -- though he shined in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in January in the offensive backfield, earning praise from multiple recruiting services. Scout.com's Greg Biggins glowed about Taylor's week, saying:

"Wisconsin commit A.J. Taylor was the best running back, by far. He's actually going to play receiver in college, but he ran the ball. He's got a great frame, a great burst, really quick. He makes people miss, he has top-end speed. He was the total package. I liked him a lot."

Verbally committed August 1, 2015

Taylor was Wisconsin's 16th commit for 2015 when he committed in a very unique fashion before his senior high school season. Taylor's family created a "Collegeopoly" board -- in the spirit of the board game Monopoly and apparently a family favorite -- to show where he would spend his college career.

Taylor held offers from Missouri, Nebraska, Northwestern, Iowa and Louisville, among other Power 5 programs.
