Wisconsin has won its last nine games against the Fightin' Illini, including a 63-55 win earlier this season.

Despite a poor showing on the road Thursday, Wisconsin can still reach its postseason goals if the Badgers (16-10, 8-5 Big Ten) simply protect home court and beat Minnesota on March 2. That task starts today against Illinois (12-14, 4-9), whom UW is attempting to sweep for the fifth consecutive year.
