Wisconsin to play Western Michigan in Cotton Bowl

Wisconsin lost out on the opportunity to play in the Rose Bowl on Saturday night, but the Badgers will still be playing in a New Year’s Six Bowl.

Though the stunning 38-31 loss to Penn State thwarted their chances of a trip to Pasadena, the Badgers will face Western Michigan in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Jan. 2.

The Broncos (13-0) come off an undefeated season after capturing the MAC championship last week over Ohio. Head coach P.J. Fleck is one of the hottest names heading into the college football carousel, so it will bare watching if or when he leaves.
