After a long overdue 21-7 victory over the Northwestern Wildcats in Evanston on Saturday, the Wisconsin Badgers jumped to No. 7 in both the AP Top 25 and Amway Coaches Poll.
Michigan (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten) stayed at No. 2 in the AP but fell to No. 3 in the coaches poll (surprisingly). Ohio State stayed at No. 6 in the AP but jumped to No. 5 in the coaches.
Nebraska fell severely after its 62-3 lopsided loss in Columbus, dropping to No. 21 in the AP and No. 20 in the coaches.
The surprise team of the conference, Penn State, now sits at No. 12 in the AP and jumped nine spots to No. 14 in the coaches.
The Badgers (7-2, 4-2) face the Fighting Illini on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT inside Camp Randall Stadium.
