Wisconsin moved up to No. 6 in the College Football Playoff rankings unveiled by the selection committee on Tuesday evening.
The Badgers (9-2, 6-2 Big Ten) jumped one spot after their 49-20 win at Purdue on Saturday, with Louisville losing to Houston.
Four Big Ten teams are in the top 10 of the rankings, with No. 2 Ohio State (10-1, 9-1), No. 3 Michigan (10-1, 9-1) and No. 7 Penn State (9-2, 7-1) joining Wisconsin.
Below are the full rankings, as captured from ESPN’s broadcast:

Wisconsin plays Minnesota (8-3, 5-3) on Saturday for a Big Ten West division title and Paul Bunyan’s Axe.
You’ll note that LSU, which Wisconsin beat back in Week 1, is no longer in the top 25. One could argue that win is the Badgers’ best on the season, but selection committee chairman Kirby Hocutt told ESPN’s Rece Davis on the rankings show Tuesday night that the Tigers dropping out doesn’t necessarily affect the Badgers.
