The Wisconsin Badgers remained at No. 7 in latest the College Football Playoff rankings released by the selection committee on Tuesday evening.
Wisconsin (8-2, 5-2 Big Ten) is one of four Big Ten teams in the top 10 of the rankings coming off a 48-3 win over Illinois on Saturday.
After a crazy weekend with Michigan, Clemson and Washington losing, Ohio State (9-1, 6-1) jumped up to No. 2. The Wolverines (9-1, 6-1) are No. 3 despite their loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday.
Penn State (8-2, 6-1) comes in at No. 8 right behind the Badgers and Nebraska (8-2, 4-2) moves up to No. 18.
Currently, Wisconsin trails Louisville at No. 5 and Washington at No. 6.
Wisconsin faces Purdue (3-7, 1-6) on Saturday (11 a.m. CT, ABC).
