Losses by the Michigan Wolverines, Clemson Tigers and the Washington Huskies on Saturday led the way for a shake-up in the Top 10 this week.
That benefited the Wisconsin Badgers, as UW moved up to No. 6 in both the AP and Coaches poll on Sunday. The Huskies are now ranked seventh in the two.
Ohio State made a huge leap to No. 2 overall while Michigan—off of their 14-13 loss at Iowa — dropped to No. 4 in both rankings systems. Clemson’s down to No. 5.
Penn State once again is a big mover and now in the Top 10 of each poll, bumping up to No. 9 in the AP (up three spots), and No. 10 in the Coaches (four spots).
Nebraska, after their 24-17 win against Minnesota, climbed to No. 19 in the AP and No. 17 in the Coaches.
As a reminder, the next iteration of the College Football Playoff rankings will be released on Tuesday (8 p.m. CT).
