Wisconsin has flipped an SEC commit and an Under Armour All-American.
Mesa, Ariz. (Desert Ridge), long snapper Adam Bay committed to Wisconsin on Sunday, flipping from Missouri. He made the announcement via Twitter during the evening. Multiple reports from BadgerBlitz.com, BadgerNation.com and 247Sports broke the verbal pledge.
Bay is rated a two-star prospect by 247, Rivals and Scout, but is a five-star long snapper, the best in the class of 2017, according to Kohl’s Kicking Camps. He also earned a spot in the Under Armour All-America football game.
Wisconsin is in need of a long snapper, as redshirt senior Connor Udelhoven is the only one on the roster. Defensive lineman/tight end Zander Neuville is the backup at the position on the current depth chart. Freshman Jake Cesear is no longer with the program, as was reported by BadgerNation.com’s Ben Worgull earlier this month.
