The breakout season everybody hoped for from Corey Clement looks like it has officially been put on the back burner.

Wisconsin announced on Thursday the groin injury that has kept Clement limited since the opener vs. Alabama has turned into a sports hernia that will require surgery and keep Clement out at least another month. This means the best-case scenario for Clement to come back is the Oct. 24 road game at Illinois. He could potentially be out until November.
