Wisconsin football: Badgers move up to No. 21 in coaches poll, No. 22 in AP Top 25

After their 28-3 victory over the Trojans, the Badgers moved up in both polls.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Not even 24 hours after the Wisconsin Badgers dispatched the Troy Trojans 28-3 at Camp Randall Stadium, voters bumped up the Badgers in both the Amway Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25 to Nos. 21 and 22, respectively. The Badgers moved up two spots in each poll.

The Big Ten currently has four teams in the Top 25 in both polls, including two in the top three of each. Ohio State is No. 1 in both, while AP voters moved Michigan State up to No. 2. Coaches locked in Michigan State at No. 3 this week.

Who would have thought Northwestern would be ranked this season? After wins against Stanford and Duke, the Wildcats are Nos. 17 and 19 in the AP and coaches poll, respectively. They may be the biggest threat to the Badgers in the Big Ten West division aside from Iowa.
