Though not hearing his name called in the 2015 NFL Draft last weekend, wide receiver Kenzel Doe has a chance to make an impression to land an NFL contract.
A contract with the defending Super Bowl champions.
As confirmed earlier Tuesday by the Wisconsin State Journal's Jason Galloway, the former Wisconsin kick returner will participate in the New England Patriots' rookie minicamp this weekend in hopes of landing a contract as an undrafted free agent.
Thanks to the Patriots organization for giving me an opportunity

Koe's agent, Josh Apple, also told Galloway if Doe leaves New England without a contract, there's an opportunity with the Houston Texans next weekend at their rookie camp.
Doe impressed during Wisconsin's pro day in March -- running a 4.48 40-yard dash, bench pressing 225 pounds 22 times, and having a vertical jump of 37 inches. The 5'8, 176-pound receiver from Reidsville, N.C. caught 42 receptions in his Wisconsin career, but left a greater mark in the return game -- averaging 9.8 and 23.9 yards per punt and kickoff return, respectively.
Doe's former teammates congratulated him Tuesday:
Too excited for my dawg @kdoe_3 getting picked up by the Patriots all he needed was a chance!
