The Great Madison Bar Bracket 2015: Southeast region results

The first round of the Southeast region is complete. Who moved on?

With 940 responses in for the first-round of the Southeast region we have closed the voting and have the winners all decided. The third region of the B5Q Bar Bracket saw all chalk advance to the second round. There were only two upsets in the State Street Region, and one of those was an 8 vs. 9 which barely even counts.

The top two seeds in the Southeast region just dominated their competition. Wando's and The Vintage both garnered over 85% of the vote in their respective matchups. Somewhat strangely, 16-seed The Double U received more votes than 15-seed Side Door. The reason that is particularly odd is because The Double U isn't even open yet. *tugs collar* Sorry, Side Door.

The other two top seeds, Karaoke Kid and Chasers, both won comfortably but The Main Depot put up a strong fight against the (real?) KK as a 13-seed. The 8/9 matchup was a neck and neck race as usual, with the dance music of the Blue Velvet besting the country music of Red Rock Saloon. The biggest surprise of the region was how much the Red Shed blew out Madhatters. If Madhatters were still in U-Square, this never would have happened. *shakes fist at underclassmen*
