Orlando safety Cycoby Burch no longer a take for Wisconsin

Cycoby Burch, a three-star safety from Orlando, Fla. (Oak Ridge), is no longer an option for Wisconsin, according to multiple reports. Rivals' Jon McNamara elaborated only in a later tweet that said Wisconsin is no longer able to accept a commitment from Burch

Earlier this week, we discussed Burch as being on commit watch for the Badgers. The 6'1, 190-pound safety appeared set to commit this weekend, but for reasons unconfirmed, that no longer seems to be the case. 247Sports' Evan Flood and Scout's Ben Worgull also added reports ($) confirming McNamara's.

Wisconsin last received a commitment on April 10, when in-state Grafton defensive end Luke Benzschawel picked the Badgers. UW's recruiting class is currently ranked No. 54 by 247Sports' composite rankings and No. 9 among Big Ten schools. Of course, there is still a long, long way until National Signing Day.
