Sports Illustrated profiles Melvin Gordon's life as he prepares for the NFL Draft

SI.com threw up this video on Tuesday on Melvin Gordon's life as he prepares for the NFL Draft. It was done in a partnership series SI is working on with Verizon known as "The Call."

Get it? You know, calls, phone companies, phones make calls, draft picks get calls on draft day. Haha, silly BRANDS.

Anyway, there's some really cool footage from his Pop Warner days in here, as well as some good bits from Gordon and his mom about growing up in Kenosha, WIs., and what not. It's cool, and you should check it out below.

The draft kicks off with the first round next Thursday from Chicago. Most draft guys think Gordon will be hearing his name called on the first night of the three-day event.
