Wisconsin senior center Frank Kaminsky was named, unanimously I might add, to the AP All-America first team for 2014-2015. Just one more monster accomplishment this year for Kaminsky, who is putting together one of the finest careers of any Wisconsin basketball player in history. Frank the Tank is averaging 18.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists on the season while shooting 54.9% from the field. He leads the country in excellent dance moves which is not usually taken into account when these teams are selected, but certainly didn't hurt Kaminsky's chances.
In yet one more thing at which the B1G is better than the SEC, joining football and Final Four participants, the best conference in the land had two players on the first team compared to the SEC's one. Freshman D'Angelo Russell of Ohio State joined Kaminsky in receiving this honor, while freshman Jahlil Okafor of Duke, senior Jerian Grant of Notre Dame and junior Willie Cauley-Stein of Kentucky round out the best five players in America.
