3 great moments from Wisconsin's win over Illinois

There were quite a few stellar plays in the Badgers' 68-48 win over the Fighting Illini on Sunday.

Sunday's first half included a few quality #SlamDekker moments. The first came at the 11:39 mark, with Wisconsin trailing by one.

The lead changed hands a few times until halftime, which the Badgers entered with a 32-24 lead. Note the fantastic pass from Bronson Koenig -- he finished with 15 points and four assists with no turnovers, continuing his sharp play since filling in for Traevon Jackson at point guard.

Dekker, who finished with 10 points and four rebounds, also had this dunk in the first half:

In the second half, Nigel Hayes had a fantastic hustle play to keep the ball inbounds after Dekker missed a tough three. UW eventually scored on a Koenig trey of his own.

Wisconsin's sophomore point guard later initiated another UW scoring possession after shaking Illinois' Kendrick Nunn with this headshake/crossover combo:

The play ended with a Hayes jumper for two points. The sophomore forward finished with 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting (2-of-2 3PT, 4-of-5 FT) and four rebounds.

Missing from these quick highlights: Det. Frank Kaminsky. The big man led everyone with 23 points and 11 rebounds, going 11-of-16 from the floor in yet another dominant effort. He has to be to the Naismith leader at this point.

A great effort all around. Illinois hung tough, and it's clear John Groce has the Illini in the right path. But right now, Wisconsin is just too good.

The Badgers (23-2, 11-1 Big Ten) next play Wednesday at Penn State (15-11, 3-10 Big Ten).
