The Wisconsin Badgers are officially on their bye week, and with that, expect many of the assistant coaches to be traveling this week. Where? Check out BadgerBlitz.com's Wisconsin Whispers ($).

With the Badgers' next game at home against Northwestern on Nov. 21 -- its final home game of the season -- the contest against the Wildcats is the last chance for head coach Paul Chryst and his staff to showcase the Wisconsin experience. Along with Lake Forest, Ill., (Lake Forest Academy) defensive end Thomas Schaffer coming to Madison, the Badgers also received confirmation South Carolina commit and three-star defensive back J.J. Givens would also officially visit per Scout.com's Michael Clark.

Givens is 6'2, 174-pound is listed as an athlete on 247Sports (as the No. 52 safety in its composite rankings) but as a cornerback on Scout.com and safety on Rivals.com. The Mechanicsville, Va., (Atlee) prospect runs a verified 4.56 40-yard dash, and aside from committing to the Gamecocks earlier this year -- has offers from Arizona State, Clemson, Michigan, Michigan State and Oklahoma. With the South Carolina coaching staff in a fluid situation with the sudden retirement of legendary head coach Steve Spurrier, will Wisconsin impress Givens enough to flip the SEC commit?
