The Wisconsin Badgers (8-3, 5-2) lost 13-7 to the Northwestern Wildcats (9-2, 5-2) in heartbreaking fashion on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium. During the game, the student section decided to utilize the available snow in the stadium to start a snowball fight -- but some also turned to the ire in wake of some controversial calls to the referees, who were also pelted.
On Monday evening, Wisconsin Director of Athletics Barry Alvarez addressed a letter to football season ticket holders and student season ticket holders about the actions of a few during Saturday's game.
