Joe Schobert continues to run rampant through college football, and now has a nice honor to show for his hard work. While it doesn't mean much for his chances of being named an All-American at the end of the season, ESPN felt that Schobert's 2015 so far was worthy of recognition and named him one of the country's best linebackers along with Reggie Ragland (Alabama) and Blake Martinez (Stanford).
So far this season, Schobert has racked up a ridiculous 9.5 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He would lead the nation in sacks and tackles for loss if not for fellow Big Ten star, Penn State's Carl Nassib (who also appears on the All-American team).
