Alex Hornibrook comes to Madison as an early enrollee who committed way back in, *checks calendar*, last week. We had this to say about the commitment at the time:

Hornibrook (Malvern Prep, Pa.) is a three-star quarterback, according to 247Sports, and the first thing you'll notice about him is that he's left-handed. At 6'4, 210 pounds, he's a pro-style quarterback -- the No. 55 signal caller in the nation, per 247's composite rankings.

He joins dual threat QB Austin Kafentzis in this class at quarterback. Hornibrook flipped from Pitt when the Badgers hired Paul Chryst.

Hornibrook decommitted from Pitt and later in the day selected Paul Chryst and Wisconsin as where he would be playing college football. He visited Madison on the ninth, and that seemed to seal the deal for him. Chris Haering was the main recruiter on Hornibrook. Clearly, Chryst was a big reason why Hornibrook chose UW and the coach will look to bring the lefty along slowly and groom him as Wisconsin's potential QB of the future. Hornibrook also had offers from Pitt (duh), Rutgers, UConn, Colgate, Akron, Lafayette and Yale.
