Wisconsin remains the second-highest Big Ten program in each of the polls behind Michigan State. The Spartans moved up to No. 9 in both human polls, while dropping one spot from No. 8 to No. 9 in the Sagarin rankings. Behind the Badgers in the human polls are Nebraska (No. 19 Coaches/No. 21 AP) and Ohio State (No. 20/No. 22).

Interesting to note in the coaches poll how the Badgers are now ahead of LSU by one position, after the Tigers fell in a 34-29 upset to now No. 16/No. 14 Mississippi State at home.
