Here's a positive sign of Wisconsin's team chemistry, if you're into intangibles like that: quarterback Tanner McEvoy has been ribbing running back Melvin Gordon after out-rushing him in the Badgers' win over Western Illinois two weeks ago. McEvoy gained 55 rushing yards on nine attempts; Gordon rushed for 38 yards on 17 attempts.
"Oh, that's embarrassing," Gordon said with laugh on Monday when notified that McEvoy, standing perhaps 20 feet away in the interview room at Camp Randall, had filled in reporters on his running joke. "No comment on that."
