College Football Polls Week 4: Wisconsin still at No. 17 in Amway Coaches Poll, down to No. 19 in AP poll

After a bye week, Wisconsin still finds itself the second-highest ranked team from the conference in both polls.

A bye week for the Wisconsin Badgers didn't change much for their standing in the Amway Coaches Poll, as they stayed at No. 17 in the nation but dropped one spot in the AP poll, down to No. 19 this week. Here are the polls in their entirety:

No Big Ten Conference team is in the top 10 in the nation in the AP or coaches polls, as Michigan State holds at No. 11 in both. Wisconsin is the second-highest ranked team for the Big Ten in both polls, followed by Ohio State (No. 18 Coaches, No. 23 AP) and Nebraska (No. 22/No. 24). If the Sagarin rankings actually mattered, there'd be two teams in the top 10 with Michigan State at No. 8 and the Badgers in at No. 10.

In comparison, and maybe adding salt to the proverbial "B1G" wound, the SEC holds four teams in the Amway Coaches Poll... in the top 10, with five in the AP top 10 as well.

Don't worry, though, Big Ten fans: There's no MAC teams ranked in the AP or coaches polls.
