Football

What are the best and worst case scenarios for the Wisconsin Badgers this season? ESPN Big Ten's Brian Bennett jokes that Gary Andersen's squad will defeat Florida State in the national championship game with Bret Bielema's Arkansas Razorbacks going 0-12. The worst case includes a 6-6 record with a Detroit bowl appearance.

Sports Illustrated's FanSided ranked 10 under-the-radar teams for the upcoming season and Wisconsin found itself atop the list.

Position breakdowns: Drew looks at the linebacker position and discusses who could help fill the void left by Chris Borland. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Jeff Potrykus looks at the special teams unit, which got off to a good start Monday.

Among the quarterback battles in the country, the one at Wisconsin is an intriguing one and Athlon Sports' Steve Lassan looks at it, believing Tanner McEvoy will win the job.

Rob Wheelwright will be catching passes from one of these gunslingers in 2014, and he is a name to remember as game No. 1 approaches.

The walk-on tradition at Wisconsin has been intact ever since Barry Alvarez arrived on campus, and it was strengthened on Tuesday with long snapper Connor Udelhoven receiving a scholarship. Also, as you'd expect, an official scholarship offer looks sweet.

Basketball

ESPN.com's Chad Ford looks ahead to next June's NBA Draft and projects two Badgers (Insider) to be selected in the first round: Sam Dekker at No. 20 to the Memphis Grizzles and Frank Kaminsky at No. 25 to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Let's turn back the clock to the pre-Olympic Dream Team era, when the team featured collegiate stars. Adopting that situation for today, NBC Sports' College Basketball Talk has Dekker starting and Kaminsky coming off the bench. Clearly it seems Wisconsin has two of the best 15 college guys in the country.

With that being said, Bo Ryan and the boys will certainly be challenged in the Battle 4 Atlantis, as they face off against UAB in the first round and could face the winner of Georgetown-Florida.

Recruiting

Badger 247's Evan Flood talks with Director of Recruiting Vince Guinta about the emphasis on recruiting and specific positions within that, among other topics.
