We all got an inkling of Dukan's productivity off the bench on the big stage against Baylor in the Sweet 16, as he chipped in five points on 2-of-3 shooting in 15 minutes. He also tacked on eight points against Kentucky in the national semifinal.

When Duje Dukan redshirted because of mono before his true junior season got underway, I thought it was simply a ploy to get another year out of college. It turns out the decision will vastly benefit the team for one of the most hyped seasons in Wisconsin basketball history. Dukan hustles, gives 100 percent on both ends of the floor and can get hot from beyond the arc in an instant. Sounds like an ideal role player for Bo Ryan.
