Wisconsin football recruiting: X'Zaviae Ausborne commits to UW, giving Badgers 2 Dallas CBs

X GONNA GIVE IT TO YA!

You guys! SERIOUSLY, YOU GUYS! I've got some recruiting news! No, again! I know we already had some today. Wisconsin received its second commitment of the day -- hell, the afternoon -- from a Texas recruit. Following the news that Takadare Williams committed earlier, X'Zaviae Ausborne joined his teammate in accepting Wisconsin's scholarship offer Friday.

Ausborne is a 5'10, 170-pound cornerback out of Dallas (South Oak Cliff, but you already knew that) who also had an offer from Louisville and interest from TCU and SMU. Much like his teammate's recruitment process, Ausborne's was not filled with many twists, turns or drama. The Badgers offered him on April 23, Louisville offered three weeks later and here we are with him committing to UW.

This is the type of corner that Rosin has been talking about. He's short, but is a fearless tackler. Check out his Hudl profile and the video below; in one of the plays, he's lined up at middle linebacker and takes down the scrambling quarterback. He has ball skills, too, and on one of his picks he takes it about 60 yards to the house, weaving in and out of would-be tacklers. A simpler statement: he's been clocked at 4.29 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

This has been an excellent day for Wisconsin football recruiting and especially for assistant coach Bill Busch, who ran point on both of today's commits. Opening up a pipeline in Texas is the next step towards world domination, and no, you're using too much hyperbole.
