College athletic departments' success can be measured by championships, or it can be measured by student-athlete graduation rates. Ultimately, though, it is measured by the financial value, and UW's athletic department has certainly been successful. It generated $149 million in 2013 revenue, second in the nation.

So you fancy, huh? Camp Randall Stadium added some more toys to enhance the fan's experience.

Money, money, money, moneeeey: It isn't cheap to host an inferior opponent, whether it's a D-1AA team or non-Power-5 member. Recruiting updates: Mike has the latest recruiting notebook, noting a June visit from a recruit and some recent scholarship offers extended. Florida-area linebacker Jordan Griffin told Badgers 247 he will take an official visit to campus ($) the weekend Nov. 14 when Gary Andersen's squad faces Nebraska. Wisconsin is the most prominent team that has offered the Armwood High School product a scholarship, joined by UCF, Boston College, Cincinnati, Purdue and Utah. I talked with Paul Grant, who played for Bennett's dad at Wisconsin from 1995-97, about playing with the Sconnie Legends for The Basketball Tournament (TBT), his time at UW, Ryan's squad 2013-14 Final Four run and much more.

Quick Hitters's Kevin Seifert wrote an excellent column about the need for a minor-league system for the NFL. I couldn't be more in favor.

Randall Schneider has been promoted to associate head coach for Wisconsin's softball team.

The LEGO Movie will be played at Camp Randall's movie night set for June 19.
