It's never a bad day when you can showcase what Ron Dayne brought to the Wisconsin football program and university in general. The New Jersey native still sits atop of the NCAA's rushing yards leaderboard, despite not seeing the field for what is coming up on the 15th anniversary of his last season on campus. Like many of you, I'll best remember Dayne when he broke the record against Iowa in November 1999, rushing the ball 27 times for 216 yards and one score. I was a goosebumps-filled 7-year-old at the time.
