2014 undrafted free agent signings: Wisconsin Badgers catch onto NFL teams

After five Badgers were drafted this weekend, more found their way onto NFL rosters as undrafted free agents.

After five Wisconsin Badgers were selected in this weekend's 2014 NFL Draft, more former UW players found homes as undrafted free agents later Saturday night.

Offensive lineman Ryan Groy signed with the Chicago Bears. Tight ends Jacob Pedersen and Brian Wozniak are set to join Dezmen Southward, Gabe Carimi and Pete Konz in Atlanta with the Falcons. Ethan Hemer has reached an agreement with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

One surprising news story involved former Badger quarterback Danny O'Brien signing with the Atlanta Falcons. He played quarterback at Catawba College in Sailsbury, North Carolina, after transferring from Wisconsin due to a lack of playing time.

The Badger with the best chance at a shot in the NFL who's yet to be signed is linebacker Conor O'Neill. It would surprise no one if he is given a chance somewhere.
