Before their January swoon, the Wisconsin Badgers spent nine straight weeks in the top 10 of the AP poll. In the latest edition released Monday, they're back at No. 9 following a five-spot jump.
Wisconsin handled Penn State on Sunday after a huge second-half effort on Tuesday carried the Badgers past Indiana. At No. 9, Wisconsin also has wins against two higher-ranked teams, including No. 1 Florida and No. 5 Virginia.
Winners of seven straight now, the Badgers face Purdue on Wednesday for Senior Night before traveling to Nebraska for the regular-season finale on Sunday.
Other Big Ten teams in this week's AP Top 25 include include No. 12 Michigan, No. 22 Michigan State and No. 24 Iowa.
