NCAA Hockey Tournament 2014: Schedule and bracket announced

Wisconsin is back in the NCAA tournament and will take on former WCHA rival North Dakota in the first round.

After winning the Big Ten hockey tournament this weekend, Wisconsin automatically earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament bracket released Sunday.

The Badgers (24-10-2), placed in the Midwest region in Cincinnati, will open vs. No. 4 North Dakota Friday at 7 p.m. CT on ESPNU. The winner will play whomever advances from Ferris State-Colgate Saturday at 4:30 p.m. CT on ESPNU. From there, the Frozen Four will be held April 10 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, with the NCAA championship game two days later.
