The plan was always that the Wisconsin Badgers were going to be aggressive with cornerbacks this year. They've offered more than 40 corners as the road to National Signing Day moves to its conclusion, and after hosting three corners over the weekend, the Badgers were able to pull their second prospect on Tuesday when Virginia Beach (Ocean Lakes) cornerback T.J. Griffin committed to the Badgers.

The three-star 247Sports Composite corner does fit the Badgers' stylistic desire at cornerback. He brings in a natural aggressiveness for the position and a reported 4.39-second 40-yard dash time. At 5'9, Griffin is a little shorter than the average corner, but his Hudl profile shows a prospect with good reactions, an ability to close on a pass and sure tackling.
Griffin chose Wisconsin over offers from Duke, East Carolina, Marshall, Oregon, Virginia and West Virginia. He joins Titus Booker, Takadrae Williams and X'Zaviae Ausbourne as the Badgers' current cornerback commitments for 2015.
