Rutgers QB Gary Nova throws at practice, still questionable for Wisconsin

Rutgers quarterback Gary Nova is still questionable for Saturday's game vs. Wisconsin. Nova injured his right knee late in Saturday's loss to Nebraska. Redshirt freshman Chris Laviano was a capable replacement, going 4-of-7 for 49 yards while also leading the Scarlet Knights with 54 rushing yards (thanks mainly to a 46-yard scamper).

Per Scarlet Report, Flood was pleased with Nova's progress, which included throwing passes but not participating in team drills. Flood echoed that positivity later on the weekly Big Ten coaches teleconference, though he reiterated that Nova's status remains TBD.
