The latest and most important news from the past week of Wisconsin recruiting.

Jonathan Daniel

The Badgers dropped four spots to No. 29, according to 247Sports' national rankings. Remember, though, that UW hasn't secured any new recruits, and it still stands with commitments from Jaden Gault, George Panos, Conor Sheehy and Craig Evans (soft commit).

OG Michael Deiter named Wisconsin his frontrunner and favorite on April 29. The 6-foot-6, 300-pound lineman from Genoa, Ohio has also received offers from Bowling Green and Toledo. Although he hasn't received offers from them, Indiana, Michigan and Michigan State have expressed slight interest in Deiter as well.
