So the bracket is set -- Wisconsin is a No. 5 seed in the West Region, and it'll be facing the No. 12 seed Ole Miss Rebels on Friday in Kansas City, Mo. Here's what you need to know in preparation for the first wonderful week of March Madness:

Ticket info (all times CT): Wisconsin's Athletic Ticket Office will be accepting requests for second-/third-round NCAA tournament tickets beginning tonight at 7 p.m., and ending Monday, March 18, at 1 p.m., online at UWBadgers.com. Ticket requests will also be accepted by phone on Monday, March 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. by calling 1-800-GO-BADGERS.
Requests will only be accepted from donors to Wisconsin Athletics and men's basketball season ticket holders. Patrons will be notified by e-mail as to the status of their request on Monday afternoon.
For UW student season ticket holders: Tickets will go on sale for the same price as donor/season ticket holder tickets beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, March 18, and remain on sale until they sell out or until 1 p.m. on Monday, March 18 -- whichever comes first. Tickets will be sold online at UWBadgers.com, where students should login to their account.
Wisconsin-Ole Miss Notes
- This will be the first meeting between the two teams.
- Wisconsin has now made 15 consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament, including 12 straight under Bo Ryan. The Badgers are 25-17 all-time in the tourney, and 16-11 under Ryan.
- Ole Miss is making its first trip to the NCAA tournament since 2002 and seventh overall. The Rebels are 3-6 all-time in the tourney.
- The Badgers earned No. 4 seeds in each of the past three seasons. They have earned a top-six seed in nine of their 12 NCAA tournament appearances under Ryan.
- The Rebels were a No. 9 seed in their 2002 tourney appearance, losing in the first round to No. 8 UCLA, 80-58.
Wisconsin and Ole Miss in 2012-13
- Wisconsin finished second in the Big Ten Tournament and fourth in the regular season with a 12-6 conference record (23-11 overall).
- Ole Miss won the SEC Tournament and finished second in the regular season with a 12-6 conference record (26-8 overall).
