CHICAGO -- Behind a 14-0 run midway through the first half, the Wisconsin Badgers own a one-point halftime lead over Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament championship game.
Wisconsin shot 10-for-25 (40 percent) from the floor and received balanced scoring from the bench and the starters. Frank Kaminsky leads the team with five points with Traevon Jackson, Sam Dekker and Ryan Evans adding four each.
Deshaun Thomas opened the game a cold 1-for-6 from the field but made three of his final five shots to enter the half with a game-high eight points. Aaron Craft has four points on 2-of-4 shooting and four rebounds and Lenzelle Smith Jr. owns a game-high six rebounds off the bench.
The pace, as usual, fits Wisconsin's slow style, as both teams have used just 25 possessions at the half. Wisconsin has scored 0.94 points per possession with Ohio State at 0.90. Both teams have scored at least one point per possession in their prior two games in the tournament.
