Jazz Peavy might not know where he'll play at Wisconsin, and after Bret Bielema told him the same thing, chances are Gary Andersen doesn't either.

What do we know about Peavy? After playing in a run-heavy offense his junior year -- he caught 22 passes for about 400 yards and four touchdowns -- Peavy was a skilled player without much buzz. Before he gave his verbal commitment to Wisconsin in June 2012, Peavy needed a 4.5 40-yard dash time to open some eyes. A strong performance at UW's one-day camp sealed the deal, prompting Bielema to tell Peavy he could play on either side of the ball -- and that it would be his choice.

"I never really knew where I stood or anything," he said of currently being unranked by both Scout.com and Rivals.com. "I didn't know what people thought about me. I guess I was a pretty underrated player.

"When I go to camps, I do impress, but I didn't know if I'd impress that much."

As a receiver at Kenosha Tremper, Peavy caught 60 passes for 935 yards (15.6 per catch) and 12 touchdowns. At cornerback, he developed a reputation for being an aware defender with an ability to play the ball well and succeed in zone coverage. Nevertheless, he's largely projected as a slot receiver who needs to sharpen his route-running and become more of a fluid pass catcher with softer hands.
