Wisconsin struggled mightily through the first half of today's game at Oregon State, amassing only 64 total yards.
The worst news by far, however, came when junior wide receiver Jared Abbrederis took a nasty hit to the chest and, after remaining on the ground for several minutes, exited the game. Abbrederis walked off on his own power, though according to this tweet from the Badgers' official football Twitter account, he left Reser Stadium in an ambulance and will be evaluated further at a local hospital.
Obviously, Abbrederis will not return. He exits with just one catch for 26 yards, perhaps the truest sign of Wisconsin's issues on offense. Quarterback Danny O'Brien is currently 4-for-11 with 46 yards. Running back Montee Ball has rushed eight times for 33 yards (4.1 per carry) while James White has gained nine yards on two carries.
As soon as more is known, we will have updates here on B5Q. In the meantime, best of wishes, Abby.
