Through the darkness, our old coach seems ready to step back into the fray.
There has been a drumbeat amongst the members of the fanbase, that for one game, it may be time for Barry Alvarez to get back to the sidelines and coach Wisconsin up as it gets ready for Stanford.
Well, it seems like Badgers fans may be getting their wish.
#Badgers source tells me Barry Alvarez will consider returning to coach #rosebowl as a "figurehead who wouldn't call plays."#bretbielema

So basically, like a head coach?
In all seriousness, this is a very interesting move. Could it cause distractions? Absolutely. Could it remove the pressures of the game and being one of the major underdogs of the Bowl Season? Definitely. Would this end the coaching search? Highly unlikely.
But for one night only? It seems as if there's a chance for a big return.
