*****
Creighton represents the second-biggest test of the young season for Wisconsin. The winner will move forward to the de facto championship game versus Arizona State, which handled Arkansas, 83-68, in the first "semifinal" of the Las Vegas Invitational.
The Bluejays are solid across the board, so the Badgers cannot afford an off night from any of its contributors. In particular, Ryan Evans and Mike Bruesewitz need to be on top of their defensive games with a showdown against Creighton's All-American forward Doug McDermott on the docket. McDermott is leading Creighton with 16.8 points per game, in addition to 7.5 rebounds per game. Seven of the eight Bluejays averaging at least 10 minutes per game are shooting better than 54 percent from the field.
