Badger Hockey TV Schedule Released

The Wisconsin athletic department released the Badger Hockey television schedule Thursday, and it includes 23 games that will be shown live.

Fox Sports Wisconsin and its alternate channel (FSW Plus) lead the way with 15 games. Nine of those will air on FS Wisconsin, while the remaining six will be shown on FS Wisconsin plus, an alternate FS Wisconsin station.

Additionally, the Badgers will play nationally televised games on the Big Ten Network, NBC Sports Network and Fox College Sports.

Wisconsin will be on the Big Ten Network four times, including the Hockey City Classic outdoor game vs Minnesota at Soldier Field.

Wisconsin's series at North Dakota will be featured on the Fox College Sports Network.

With the NHL work stoppage, the NBC Sports Network has dipped into the college game for programing. Badger fans will benefit, as the Nov. 30 contest at Denver, and the March 1 game at Nebraska Omaha will both be shown in prime time.

Wisconsin Public Television returns as part of Wisconsin's television package, showing 13 home games on tape delay. Wisconsin Channel will air the games at 10 p.m., and again the following afternoon.

Paul Braun and Rob Andringa return to call the action for Wisconsin's FS Wisconsin contests, with Barry Richter taking up occasional analyst duties. Robb Vogel, along with Theran Welsh and Ron Vincent, will man the booth for the tape-delayed Wisconsin Channel broadcasts.
