Today I am happy to announce that Chuck Schwartz, previously of Sixty Minutes. No Alibis. No Regrets., has joined Bucky's 5th Quarter and will provide our readers complete year-round UW hockey coverage for the first time.
When I created B5Q in January of 2009, I wanted to provide Badger hockey coverage as much as possible. At the same time, I don't believe in half-assing journalism and it quickly became apparent that I did not have the time or knowledge to give UW hockey fans the coverage they deserve. Thus, I made the decision to concentrate solely on football and basketball until we found the right guy to cover hockey.
If you are familiar with Chuck's work, you know there isn't a better Badger hockey blogger out there. His knowledge of the UW program and NCAA hockey in general is unmatched and I couldn't be happier to welcome him to the B5Q family.
Without a doubt, B5Q is now home to the best Badger basketball blogger in Phil Mitten and the best Badger hockey blogger in Chuck Schwartz. I like to think my football coverage isn't horrible either. This is truely a great addition to our team.
