Morning everybody! Lets get the day started right.
I doubt the Badgers or the Buckeyes would have it any other way- Wisconsin will face a No. 1-ranked Ohio State team for the third time in a year this Sunday. But Rob Schultz writes that the Badgers still have to take on the Hoosiers before they can think about seeing Ohio State again.
Schultz says the Badgers will need to focus on taking care of the Hoosiers, despite the dual distractions of a re-match with Ohio State and Menomonee Falls' J.P. Tokoto's impending announcement. The highly-recruited Tokoto, as Phil wrote Monday, is set to announce his college choice tomorrow.
The Badgers will also need to shut out the eventual references to "Saliva-gate," as I'm sure we haven't seen the last of that non-story. According to Schultz, Bo Ryan doesn't think his remarks about the "scandal" created any ill will:
"The game is played, it's over and you deal with it. You deal with the fact the buzzer sounded; the game is over. That's what that was. So don't make anything out of that that it isn't."
