I hope all you Packer fans out there have recovered from Sunday- we've got some Badger basketball going on tonight!

Wisconsin's trip to Iowa City to face the Hawkeyes may be just an ordinary Big Ten road game to most of the Badgers, but not to freshman guard Ben Brust. Brust returns to Iowa City tonight for the first time since he decommitted from Iowa last year. According to Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Brust is making himself comfortable in a program he almost didn't join.

"I went through a whole year thinking I was going to be a Hawkeye," said Brust, who committed to then-coach Todd Lickliter before the start of his senior year at Mundelein (Ill.) High School. "So the whole season I was rooting for them."

Brust decommitted from the Hawkeyes after Lickliter was fired following a 10-22 record in 2009-2010. Fran McCaffery replaced Lickliter, and has helped the Hawkeyes rebound to a 10-13 record so far this season.

More Badger Bits after the jump!

Speaking of Brust, Rob Schultz of Madison.com says that Bo Ryan doesn't have a problem with Brust taking a three point shot near the end of the Michigan State game.
