MADISON, Wis. - Greetings from the Kohl Center and welcome into our live game thread as the Badgers look to get back in the win column against the Nittany Lions of Penn State. Wisconsin followed its thrilling comeback win over then-No. 1 Ohio State with a tough loss at Purdue Wednesday night. There is certainly no shame in losing at Mackey Arena, though, as the Buckeyes themselves proved in their 76-63 loss there earlier today. As a result of that contest, Wisconsin gained some ground on Ohio State in the Big Ten standings; the Badgers are now just two games out of first place in the loss column and one behind second-place Purdue. Every other team in the conference has at least seven Big Ten defeats.
This is also a revenge game for Bucky, as the Badgers suffered a surprising four-point loss at Penn State last month. Wisconsin blew a nine-point halftime lead in that game.
We'll be here all game long, so feel free to chime in with your comments, questions and predictions as the Badgers try and extend their Kohl Center win streak to 18 games.
