Here it is, the finals of the Chicago Invitational Challenge and the culmination of a big day for Badger sports. Wisconsin has advanced to exactly where it was expected to be when this tournament was announced against the best opponent it could have hoped for. BYU is rated No. 21 in early Ken Pomeroy rankings (UW is third).
As in last night's game, the opponent has a former UW recruiting target on its roster. The Badgers offered a scholarship to BYU freshman wing Damarcus Harrison, but the pull of the LDS church was too great apparently. Harrison is one of nine Cougars to be logging over 10 minutes per game so far, led by senior forward Noah Hartsock, their leading scorer.
