I mentioned this on Twitter last night as I was watching the Ottawa Senators beat my Blackhawks 4-1 and I wanted to make sure I got the video posted here. Many of you know that former UW netminder Brian Elliott plays for the Sens and those of you that follow the NHL more closely know that he has been criticized a lot this season. Well in this video you will see why he has been criticized, but you will also see why the Senators see a lot of potential in him. Elliott makes a terrible mistake handling the puck behind the net, but he recovers and makes a remarkable save on Marian Hossa. Is this the save of the year?
