There's an interesting post on Black Shoe Diaries right now about the Las Vegas odds on some college football teams for 2009.
Vegas set's UW's over/under win total at eight. What do you think?
I see six almost-sure wins on the 2009 schedule (Northern Illinois, Fresno State, Wofford, Purdue, at Indiana and at Hawaii). So the question is, can Wisconsin win three of the other seven games (Michigan State, at Minnesota, at Ohio State, Iowa, Michigan, at Northwestern and a presumptuous bowl game)?
Right now, I think they do win three... but only three of those games. That would put them at 9 wins, which is risky because last year those almost-sure wins didn't exactly turn in to wins.
Eight is probably a good over/under and Vegas always knows best. So what do you think?
