Badger Bits: No. 1 recruit could play two sports

The Badgers are just barely in the mix for OL Seantrel Henderson, a 2010 recruit from Minnesota who is widely considered to be the No. 1 prospect in the nation. Still, according to The Cap Times, Bret Bielema and his staff have talked to Henderson about possibly playing football and basketball at UW.

Bucky Badger to compete in 2009 Annual Celebrity Mascot Games - UWBadgers.com
Bucky is one of 27 professional and college mascots participating. Other Big Ten mascots competing are Purdue Pete, Iowa's Herkey the Hawk and Goldy Gopher from Minnesota. Unfortunately my favorite mascot in all of sports, the Arizona Diamondbacks' Baxter the Bobcat, will not be in the competition.
